OMG!!!! Formal is over!! *sobs* It was one of the best nites of our lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all we did was dance and took pics. n nt to forget... scream!!! lol. we were so bummed when it was over. it was really really FUN!! no question asked!

so that day, we woke up...ok....wait for it............at.........8.00am!!!!!!!!! i know. super eh. we never even wake up this early on a saturday.after we woke up, we woke richard up cos we were going to his place to prepare pre drinks food abt an hour earlier than we were supposed to.

besides dancing we obviously camwhored a whole lot.hahhahahah......n we 'teleported' at the line when taking photos by the professional phtographer. but the best part of the nite was still....DANCING!!!!!

we krumped the whole nite and jumped around. seriously we wonder how we did all that in heels for the whole nite.well the after effects were pretty bad. trix has blisters and chloe's thighs are painful. and to top it all of, formal only finished at 12a. SUNDAY!!!!! and we stayed up till 6am. after we woke up in time for lunch we lazed around and watched movies.

now we so regret lazing around cos we had a stats test today and we were TIRED. and and...we went to school with panda eyes!!!!! omg....ppl noticed.it was bad.and we may still have the eyebages tomorrow sigh.

ah well that is all we gotta say.will update more when we are free.hols is next week.hehe.we wish we could turn back time to go the formal again.we MISS it so much!!!!

Another day.....with a small twist

well, today we woke up at 7.30am.i noe....AMAZING!!! hey it was mufti ok. we had more layers of clothes to put on.i got to wear my new boots.muahahhahaha...i love it here.i get to wear boots.i absolutely love boots man....dunnno why.i just love them.but i also love other shoes....like wedges,peep toe,more high heels....pumps.ok im ranting.....i shall stop ranting abt my shoe fetish now n get back to my day.
neways got to school....had media studies first period.blasted loud music from my ipod into my ears.aft crapping at media.....i went to stats.during media i watched clouds as well.they were moving really fast so we predicted that it would snow soon.then, i went to next period.stats.i ahd to walk from the library to C1 where stats class is currently held since we are doing time series. it doesn't seem that fat when you are in the normal school uniform...but in heels,it seemed pretty far cos i didn't wanna go use the shortcut-through the field-as i was afraid that i would dirty my shoe. or worse....i was afraid that i would sink due to the heel of my boots.
so arrived in stats....gt a computer and ended up being distracted.i always get distracted when we study in C1.why???? teacher was explaining stuff n i was looking but my mind was elsewhere.i was thinking of my media article and my nice warm bed. thinking of that beats listening to my stats teacher.no offence but seriously......listening in class is boring especially when you hate math.lol.i also talked to jonathan and richard during stats.....then at the end of the lesson. we.heard.SNOW!!! or so we thought.we went out aft wrapping ourselves up and to our dismay it was only HAIL. yea it was hailing.....it looked like polysterene beads falling from the sky. then jonathan put his hand out and he said it hurt....wait maybe that was richard. anyways,i din believe him and stuck my hand out. n let me tell you....it HURT.how could something so small hurt eh.sigh.....so after hiding out for a while we decided to brave the hail to get to our usual hangout place.since i was in heels and richard could not run....we walked. lucky i had a hood...hhahahah.so the hail could not hit my head lol.....but i was so unlucky.the one time i looked up,the wind blew a whole bunch of hail into my face.n boy did my face hurt.then...when we got to our locker area....we found trix,karen and the others all outside.so i decided that i will go outside and see what they were up to.so i went out n the first thing i noticed was...they were having a 'snowball' fight.so i went in. then i tot i would go out again.this time i was so soi.....b4 i could save myself...i gt hit by a 'snowball' on my leg.wtf rite.it hurt like hell and my pants got wet.it looked as though i peed on my pants.was a strategic place to hit...sigh.just my luck.well on the bright side, i did not get my butt hit with snowballs.hahahhahaha....
well...then the rest of the day passed slowly.we got to go home early though cos of weather conditions.because of that,i could actually go home at 1.30pm since i had study.but i wanted to do my media in LC1 so i tot i would stay and do it. then b4 i had a chance to start richard said that he would stay to do some work as well.then he suggested we gt hot coffee since it was cold and i agreed.guess what......we ended up sitting at the cafe talking n having our coffee.note to self.....do not get coffee with richard if you actually intend to get some work done.lol.then 2.30pm came about and me n trix went home. arrived home and pigged out as usual.sigh......
then we had dinner and watched some tv.had interesting convos with some frens.and now, we are watching tv and i am blogging.soon i shall start my tourism work and media then sleep. ah.....cant wait and tomorrow will be another day.another long day until i can go home.local food....yummm......

ok, last night was the last dance lesson before formal. so i kinda decided i should go.n Tamara did sorta hint that she wanted to see us all there. :p anyway.....it was kinda boring but some things that were funny did happen.
since i am dateless(i dont think there is such a word) i thought that i could just go there to enjoy my ipod and possibly have a few laughs at Beatrix. well, she said that i could just sit there and watch her dance. however, i got cheated by her. that liar, liar pants on fire. she made me go dance when we the girls and boys were seperated to learn their respective dance steps. so i did....that was fine i guess then i thought that i would go and sit down when the couples paired up.but she didn't let me!!!! she tried to make me dance next to her as well.....sigh.luckily i do not give in easily so i managed to get myself out of that. she is EVIL at times man.hmph.....
last nite slept really late cos i suddenly realised that i had to hand up my tourism assesment today. in the end, i just could not stand it and figured out that i could go to school and grovel at mr.gin to give me an extension. which i did btw....and got a longer extension than expected.muahhahahahahah....mr.gin is too nice,not that i am complaining of course. then as usual, we gt hungry when we were lying in bed and ended up talking about home food.sigh...pathetic. there is definitely no other way to describe our bedtime topic.
this morning, we woke up late. but its the first time this week. well actually we din. we actually did wake up at 7.30am but we laid in bed till 8am arguing whether or not we should go to school. our bed was so warm and comfy that it made getting out of bed difficult. but being the good student that we are...we went to school. we left the house at 8.25 and we arrived with 4mins to spare.we're good eh....hahahah. first period was eng anyway and teacher is usually late. i got back some of my sleep during eng since i fell asleep when we were suppose to do characterization. hehehe....lets hope teacher din notice me.lol...
then lunch came about and trix arrived late for lunch while richard arrived first.the first thing he told me was that trix got a referal for not doing chem hw.i was already laughing at her getting a referal cos she was so scared about it. but she didn't all she had to do was stay back tomorrow....hahahah till 5pm.lmao.i shall txt her from home to make her jealous when i am eating my aft tea.lol. plenty of funny things happened during lunch anyway...richard was retelling the ham sap conversation that trix had in bio yesterday and i was lmaoing again. sigh.....today was also bloody damn cold. i was literally shivering everywhere i went.sigh....
well, i wont bore you all with my sad diet.lets just hope that i dont get any fatter this week......*fingers cross*. uh huh like that will help...*rolls eyes* dinner is actually like really healthy everyday now since every1 in the family is on a diet.mayb i may actually maintain my weight since we wont eat fat now.lol..

formal fever

so formal is in 2 weeks.well less actually.its kinda.....stressful to go to a formal man. unlike in kch,going to prefect's nite is like wateva....cos it's like all girls and i don't have to help plan it.

i dn have a thing against being in the committee la.but it is kinda stressful due to the fact that i am in the deco sub-committee and that part is kinda all over the place. even though they think it is ok....to me it isn't but i can't exactly do anything if majority thinks its alright.majority rules in this committee ok.not like at home...we can argue our way till the end.sigh...

so anyway,part of my formal fever was to go on a diet.rite.....it is going really well...NOT!!!i just had afternoon tea.the only thing that i have changed is that i now eat breakfast.lol.how sad is that?!?!?! haiyo....this is going to be bad man.what if i cant wear my dress!!!! CHOI!!! must not think like that.hopefully i dont get fatter within the next few days.of i do...i got no idea what i am going to do.this is sheer torture man.i have tim tams sitting in my room and i can't eat them.i have to stare at it for another week plus at least.this seriously sucks.n i am suppose to exercise...instead all i have done is manage to squeeze in some crunches,push ups and stretching here and there.

the fact that me n trix's bedtime topic is food.we like lie in bed and think of all the kch food.char kueh....laksa....kolo mee....arghhh!!! seriously ok...i think thinking abt food can make u fatter.but i really miss kch food.i cant wait to go home and eat.the first thing i will do when i get out of the airport is to go and eat kolo mee. i will have to wait another 5 months to do that.pray that i can last till then.if not i shall get desperate n try to cook my own kolo mee.anyone who knows how well i can cook knows that it will be a disaster.lol...

another thing that makes formal here differ from prefects nite is the arrival. at home if u arrive in any car its like cool...wateva.here its like...you kinda wanna arrive in a limo cos most ppl rent a limo.so that is exactly what me n my frens did.we rented a limo....seriously man.it is not easy to rent a limo.u kinda cant get what you want here cos limos here are all white.i hate white but they just had to have white only.sigh.....other than that there are certain problems that one can run into when sharing a limo.believe me.....its not exactly pretty when you have to deal with limo probs and other stuff to do with formal.

one has to think of makeup and hair as well.that is if you are a girl of course.guys are so lucky.....they don't need to think about makeup n hair.i swear that is the hardest part.i still can't decide whther to do it by myself or get it done at a saloon.sigh....n i only have 2 weeks to decide.argh!!!! *breathe* every1 has to think abt their image at formal rite.no1 wants to look like bad on that nite. trust me....looking bad in front of half the school is social suicide i think.all i can do is hope that i am not going to be one of the ones with bad makeup,hair and dress. * fingers cross*

one thing is for sure though.....day aft formal i am not gonna be awake till 2pm at least. formal finishes at 12am n i'm going to an after party......so its kinda obvious that i will not be able to get up early ok. it'll be like a hangover without alcohol.lol......anyways i totally need to get on with my homework and accounting before i kiss another 6 credits goodbye.

ok we were like super vain today but for a good reason of course.we were trying out hairdo's and stuff for the formal.which is in 2 weeks time btw.so we took some pics....which i shall not show you all.haha.
anyway, before we started being vain we woke up at 12 noon.yep,we only managed to wake up at 10am once.hahahahah...trix hasnt been a good girl today.lol.i didn't get out of my pj's all day.hehe.i was too LAZY.that's me.the lazy girl....
however, i had a really 'healthy' brunch.i had hot dog,crumpet and leftover-meat-sandwich.it was so good but totally FATTENING.omg i am gonna get so fat this winter.seriously man....i am officially on a diet.i will only drink water n bring yoghurt to school.im NOT jking.i actually went to fill up my bottle so that i can bring water to drink at school tomorrow ok....''-_- i know.but desperate times calls for desperate measures.
i have also started to stop biting my nails.i actually have nails now with some help of nail growth formula by sally hansen.that stuff is really gud ok.i mean i have nails.hahahahha....maybe able to paint them by formal if they are long enough.lol.pathetic i know....im 17 n i still bite my nails.well not anymore.hahahahaha thanks to sally hansen and orly for inventing the nail growth and no bite formula.lmao.
hahahah...trix is still being vain now while i shall be vain later and straighten my hair.i am addicted to straightening my hair man.sigh....pathethic.

nicknames....

let's just say that i have never been a person that was short of nicknames. i wonder why .am i like so nice to give nicknames to.everything that i am involved in and most ppl i know end up giving me nicknames.some have been really bad while some are just plain pathetic.here is the first one.
1. wei
ok this one started way back in pri school. i think it was stephanie.she started calling me wei when we were in pri6 and then it kinda stuck. b4 i knew it, kavita and sharmela starting calling me wei as well. so far these are the only 3 ppl who has ever called me wei. since i do not hear many ppl call me this except them, i tend not to answer to this cos i am only accustomed to these voices calling me wei.so nobody should ever try calling me wei besides them as all you will get is a cold shoulder.hehe
2.kavita's nicknames for me
since i have known kavita most of my life, i have been able to acquire alot of nicknames from her.you see,unlike sharmela who is able to stick to only one nickname for me....kavita has to change it regularly.some of the nicknames that she has given me which were regularly used was......chloe-chai-chubchub, kitty-kitty and panda-weewee.there may have been more but i can't remember them.like i said, there are so many thus making it impossible for me to remember them all.i mean i do need to remember other things apart from the nicknames kavita has given me rite.i should make one thing clear though, i do NOT like any of this nicknames.so don't ever dare try it on me-unless you are kavita.
3. cleanliness ah ma
this one i received from band. yup,i was the 'cleanliness mistress' of the band.apart from being section leader in band, miss tan thought that i should take care of the cleanliness of the music room as well. this of course meant that it was my head on the chopping block if the room was dirty. therefore, i made a section stay back every week after practice to clean up the bloody room. while they cleaned,i would stand on the stage at the conductor stand with a feather duster and scold wave it at anyone who i thought was slacking at their work.i would also use the feather duster to point at any rucbbish i could see from where i was. my action of waving the feather duster plus my high pitched voice and screaming made the juniors and fellow friends give me the nickname cleanliness ah ma. this came around in form4 and it stuck until i left school. let's just say that this wasn't so bad as it makes the juniors actually listen to me so that they do not get punished by the 'scary' cleanliness ah ma. lol.

i know i do not seem to be the most kuai student or disciplined but i WAS prefect.yep,that's rite. while i was prefect i paticularly hated to be in 'unit pengawasan kelas' (sorry natasha).it wasn't that Natasha the 'ketua unit' back then was mean....it was just that the students on the floor that i always had to 'jaga' was paticularly nasty and loved to argue. so i kinda ended up not smiling during my duty and spoke in really harsh tones to them. in fact i think i never really spoke to them,i more like odered them around. it was the only way i could get them to listen to me. so in the end, the students started to hate me as i always chastised them with my harsh tone and stern face that they called me muka singa. up to this day, i do not understand why they used singa.....could it be that i look like a lion when i am not smiling?hmmm......

this was recently given to me bye gertrude since she started chatting.according to her my name is too long to type.i mean come on....my name is 5-letters long.no1 else has ever had a problem with typing c-h-l-o-e out but her. sigh.so yea,now she calls me cho on9 and i am still not used to it.sometimes i even think that she is typing into the wrong convo......

when we were in form4 , we were a floating class but our main classroom was the physics lab. so me,kher lee,gertrude,michelle, ah toh and claudia sat at one table. we were ALWAYS talking.all of us but claudia had motor mouths so we could talk non stop all day. when we ran out of things to talk about, we would find things to do.so one day.due to extreme boredom we gave each other other names.being born in NZ,they decided to call me a kiwi.but they did not mean kiwi as in New Zealanders they meant the bird!!they said that i was like the kiwi bird.round and fluffy.sigh....where in the world can a person have friends who compares them to a kiwi bird but me.just my luck....but i love them all the same.
7.senior
another one from band. my clarinet juniors especially the younger ones have a habit of calling me this. i feel flattered that they respect me but.....it makes me sound old. some of them even rub it in more by saluting me as they say it.hahah...apparently i was really mean to my first batch of juniors ito my friends so they manage to joke about my meaness untile it somehow spread around. since word had spread around, by the time i gt my new batch of juniors in form4 the new ones were all afraid of me because of the stories they had heard.at first it was out of respect i think but as they got to know me.....they noticed that calling me senior annoyed me and they did it for fun.
8.aunty chai
ah,the most recent one.this is a bit embarassing......due to a moment of nosiness(is this even a word??),i asked richard something.before i knew it,he started calling me aunty chai because i was nosy like one of those old aunty's in the cantoneses series.sigh...i can't say i dont deserve it since i was nosy but i don't like it either. makes me sound so old......and i am not even older than richard.hmph....
ok so i that is all the nicknames i can think of.i am sure that they are plenty more but i think 8 to a person excluding family nicknames(which i shall not disclose) is alot. who knows how many more nicknames i can get here. i think beatrix is gonna start calling me PA(personal alarm clock) soon....she was calling me tat for awhile earlier on today.let's hope that it doesn't stay.*fingers cross*.......lol.

my life and pride

don't you sometimes wish that life was easier. some events make you wanna change your life while some doesn't.sometimes we just wish that life could remain easy with no complications. right now, i really wish it was easier. that i didn't have to make the decisions i made or have to make. some of it may seem petty to most people but it seems HUGE to me.i have made decisions that made me feel bad towards some people as well as selfish but i know that it is the best for me. its not that i do not want to do what they are asking me to do...i really do want to but i know that people will think of me differently after that. i am afraid i guess of what people will think. what can i say, i care about my pride above anything else. my pride is the most important thing to me and i will not put it in jeopardy for anyone or anything.
i would rather be called shelfish then scar my pride. as sad as it is,i know that people will pity me or mock me if they knew. i would be sp scared by then that life may become more difficult. i rather have a crap time than having fun with my friends if it means saving my pride. i am a girl who would never ever compromise anything for her pride. i already did something that has hurt my pride but of course nobody knows about it and i tend to keep it a secret.it was a mistake.
the one time i did not listen to myself, i hurt my own pride.that taught me a lesson. i now know that i should not ever,ever listen to anyone else but myself.i am the only person that can make my decisions.sure, i can get advice from others but ultimately i must answer my own question or problems. nobody else would care what happens to my pride since it is not their own. they will just answer what is most appealing to them.wouldn't there.nobody would know how something may affect a person except the person themseslves.therefore, it is best to make your own decision for your whole life. you may accept advice from others but you are the only person who knows what is best for you.
after reading this,many people may think of me differently.i realise that but this is who i am. i will accept advice. i will consider others feelings.i will feel guilt if i know i may have hurt someone. however, i will ONLY listen to my own heart and answers.my pride is the most important thing to me. other than that, i can still be the same person but this is who i am on the inside. a person who cares about her own pride before anything else.

ok.i know that i said that i will NOT fail my accounting test but i seriously think that i will fail now.why in the world is there questions of definition to answer.isn't accounting suppose to consist of counting only!!!!OMG!!!why did i take that sub?!?!?%&&$#&* This is so gonna cost me ok. like wtf...shud not have taken this sub.i mean i manage to drop my sciences but why in the world did i go and take accounting when i knew that i would not like it.seriously man....sometimes i think that i am kinda dumb. i know ppl say that it is an easy sub...but you know how i feel abt numbers *puke*.so anyone who knows me.next time, please please pleeeeaaaassseee stop me when i am going to take a subject i have said that i would never like. the moral of this would be...*drumroll*....DON'T be influenced by anyone when making a decision. take a harder subject that you know you will like cos then,you will never resent your choice.
ok enough about my stupid test. back to other things that has happen today....well i spent lunch 'selling' tickets.i mostly just sat there and ate my banana and talk to beatrix.all i did was collect money.hehehe...shows you how hardworking i am eh.n then i was going to be hardworking during my study period but since i got kicked out of LC3,i decided to read magazines instead. then some how, managed to loose my scarf in the library!!of all places.gosh...im getting old man. lucky for beatrix...if not, i would have been walking in the library in circles trying to find my scarf.you see although i maybe smart....i can be the exact opposite at times.all trix did was go up and ask the librarian for lost property.now why did i not think of that.seriously man....sigh.*sweat*.
so we came home due to trix's 'heroic' act and i did get my scarf btw.lol.and we so called wanted to study but ended up reading our friends blog(which is super interesting and funny).i also manage to catch my mum,dad and aunt on9 thus finding out about the latest events in our family as well as getting some pujukan from my dad to go home earlier.so yea......then we had dinner.fish and chips again.sigh....seriously man...it is starting to make me sick looking at those sticks of potatoes and pieces of fish coated in oil and flour....yuck. as usual..trix is sabotaging me by throwing all of her oily crunchy bits from the fish into my plate.talk about sabotage eh...sigh.n now we are watching 'Tigger's Movie'.imagine how funny it is to suddenly hear your 18 year old friend sing all the songs to most children movies.yep..trix does that and i laugh every single time.hehehehe.....well can't blame her for being young at heart eh.
we also watch some videos and powerpoint my dad and friends sent.but the best is this one.here watch it.you gotta have patience and watch it till the end though....seriously.

ok when i showed this to trix, she screamed so loud and shrilly.i think my eardrums has officially reached its elastic capacity and am now currently deaf already.my eardrums are not working anymore ok....sigh.anyway the house must have shook as well when she started screaming and jumping at me.its not tat bad rite.look at it....feaky i admit but not tat bad.heheh...okok i shall stop now abt the video.

we also manage to spent an entire 15min imitating accents.by far our fav is the indian accent....sorry ppl.but it is the most fun to do and also because trix's dentist maybe a indian.so we kinda like to imitate it while imagining how trix shud talk to him/her when she goes for her appointment.lol.so yea.....ok gonna watch America's Most Smartest Model soon.it's a really hillarious show as most of the contestants are complete polar opposites of the series title.i mean one was so stupid she couldn't even name shapes.sigh....but it is worth watching cos it make me feel better and smarter.hahahaha....so i gtg now.will blog again...soon

ehem....randomness

ok 1st blog since forever really.lol.so far high school has been pretty sweet. i finally can choose what i want to study ie non sciences subjects.so yea...and its been kinda easy to gain the credits. the worst choice i have made here so far is to take accounting as a subject.i don't even know why i took it...sigh.so yea basically that is all that has happened besides me going shopping nearly every week after school.
That is probably one of the worst things in New Zealand. There is at least one sale here every week and most malls are accesible by bus.thus making it easy for me to spend my $$$ which of course equals *faint* for my dad.The best part is tat sales here is really sale....they are like up to 70% sale with NO damage to the item. i mean how cool is tat and how many places in kch have 70% sale without damage to the item. oh don't even get me started on the No1 shoe warehouse...that is my heaven. i mean shoes there are like gorgeous and the standard offer is buy 2 get 1 FREE.first time i was there i was like whoa......hu gives you free shoes in kch.you could buy 10 pairs n still get nothing for free.sigh...kch ppl shud learn how to do business frm kiwi's.
kk...enough about my shopping. i shall now tell you how my day went today. school wasn't interesting at all.it never really is except for the fact that i miss lunch regularly now because i go for accounting tutorial.then we went to the bank to bank in my $$$$ then we came home.so at home, i crammed in all of my acc(i shall continue aft this). in between all tat i had beatrix to entertain me with her many oooooo's and ahhhh's.the thing abou trix is that she always makes people get jumpy by going 'hoh' and 'omg' out of the blue. it seriously makes things hillarious at times and annoying if it happens often.lol. n we were dissing someone just now n she ended up rolling on the floor....which happens pretty regularly.maybe its because of me.i know, i'm hillarious.lol...jkjk.
i shall stop crapping now i guess.i so need to get back to my acc before i fail the first test of the year.amazing eh, i haven't even failes a single paper so far.choi....better not jinx it man.lol.of course...i gotta finish watching my desperate housewives first eh......as well as disturbing beatrix abt smthg very eventful-it's a secret that you all will never know.
