1st week of term 3

So, another week has pass = another week closer to prelims. yeps...this term we have prelims which is pretty much the same as our pra or mock exam in msia. the only cool thing is that....we don't have to go to school everyday. isn't that great. you just go to school when u have paper. the great thing is i only have 3 papers to sit for since there are no externals for tourism. apparently i don't have media in prelims as well so that is cool. sigh....i only need to go to school 3 times in those 2 weeks of prelims. ah, bliss. but......i gotta use it to study my accounting to make sure that i will actually pass. bloody hell, why did i take that subject.

school was pretty ugh this week. it was raining everyday. i think....probably not on monday only. but other than that...all you could see out the windows in school were dark and gloomy clouds. it was so depressing that it made me feel like ditching all my classes to come home to sleep n be depress.lol. i didn't of course since i am such a gud student. it also rained heavily every night making it so hard to wake up every morning. makes me miss home.....sigh. i even thought that i was at home the first night it rained that heavily. lolz.

anyways, on the first day back at school....i got bombarded with 2 assesments!!! omg....it was the saddest thing i had to hear. unless i failed my last term assesment than this maybe less sad. i haven't gotten any of my last term assesments back yet btw.hopefully i din fail any. *fingers crossed* so yea, i now have an eng research to do as well as 2 tourism assesments. how am i suppose to do 2 assesments at once. i think my tourism teacher thinks that his students are super students. lol.

i'm starting to sound like a person who has never studied in msia now. i mean even with all that going on.....it is still considerably less than home. its just more than last term but still ok i guess. if i could survive SPM, i can definitely survive this easily. time to go into kiasu mode perhaps. bring back some of my 5Sc1 kiasu spirit to use so that i can get through this easily. lol....nt that i have much kiasu-ness in me but i have enough to drive in me to ensure that i hand everything up.maybe being an ex-5Sc1 student does have some use aft all. lol.

another thing....i realise that teachers here are so nice. they are so nice it is unbelievable at times. for example....you know back at kch if a teacher accidentaly hits ur head and u say you are fine. that it. the end. no more discussion abt it. here however, the teacher goes on and on about it. and they are so sorry about it they end up giving you homework extensions!!! i mean...come on. it makes it seem as though the kch teachers could not care less about their students. teachers here are really extremely nice that they get bullied by students regularly. it is really sad that this happens. i mean....if what the students did to the teacher here in kch. they would definitely get suspended. but no...the teacher here forgives them n just sends them to detention. like....omg. teachers here really make kch teachers seem like the devil at times.sigh....

media is officially the best subject ever. i really wish it was offered in msia. i would definitely pass all the exams with flying colours. all you do is sit there for an hour and watch movies. how cool is that. in term 1 we watched oldies then in term 2 we did magazine publishing which was pretty cool. we gotta make our own magazine spread....and it was not that hard actually. now, we are watching remakes. currently we are watching 'The Getaway'. its kinda gay...and lame but it is all gud. soon we will watch 'Ocean's Eleven'. tell me which other subject will allow the student to watch George Clooney, Brad Pitt and so forth in class? it is only media of course. and the work is pretty easy as well...writing the movie reviews and stuff. all you gotta be able to do is crap. of course when crapping you gotta make sense. i mean that is all i do and i get an excellence. isn't that cool. gosh i love this subject. i especially love the magazine publishing. it was fun just going to class to sit there n type or google stuff frm the internet for the whole term.

since i love this subject and eng....i have figured out that i should study mass communications. by studying this i can become a journalist, go into advertising, be in PR and etc. maybe one day....i can be like Wilhelmina Slater. without all that scheming of course. than i can earn tons of money...muahahahah.okok...jking. but yea, who knows. i reckon being a journalist would be cool.....since i write pretty well. well at least i noe i can make myself a living in the future. i reckon i should consider law as well.....since being able to 'express' yourself well in writing is required. which i am able to. i maybe able to win cases as well by confusing the jury with my maglev speed talking. i could just talk at high speed n confuse the jury till i win the case. think it is a gud idea? lol.

well, back to tourism for me. will update when i can.

HoLs in Nz

hmm.....term 2 break started a week ago. you would expect me to have plenty of fun considering the amount of freedom i have eh. instead......hols here are WORSE than back home. not because i have no friends to hang out with. i have friends...it's just that there is NOTHING to do. i think what teens do here is go clubbing. but since i am still underage...i can't go clubbing. so what have i done for the whole first week of hols.

day 1:

aft skool, came home to change. left home to go to the city. got there went to burger king and ate. felt bad there cos saw joanne squeezing oil out of her fries while i was happily muching away my oily fries AND onion rings. sigh....left to walk around met back up with friends at Q-world. got there did nothing but watch ppl play pool and camwhored a lil. in the end played one game of pool. was amazed by the number of tecniques there was to hit the ball. apparently pool does not just invovlve a person hitting a ball with a stick....there is much more to it. left Q-world....went to timezone. raced with beatrix....left timezone and went to starbucks. aft that came home to do NOTHING.

day 2:

woke up late. went to the mall. suppose to catch a movie. but saw snow so ended up going to richard's house to wait for the snow to settle. it didn't. stayed there for dinner and reminiscence abt formal. sigh......came home and did nothing...again.

day 3:

still the same.woke up late......and i don't know what we did after that. the day passed by like a BLUR.

day 4:

woke up late as usual....studied a bit. then i have no idea what i dod for the rest of the day.

day 5:

went to watch hancock. a very funny movie. walked around the mall...found shops we never knew existed in the mall. lol. karen met us at the mall at five...went to take sticker photos. had starbucks and chatted a lil before we left for home.

day 6:

woke up really early to go meet richard at his house so that we could go to University of Canterbury's open day. was supposed to listen to the lecture on engineering but instead we missed it and walked around the campus. went to an indian restaurant on campus to eat breakfast as well as to have a hot drink since it was FREEZING. walked around some more....aft lunch went to the lecture for law. it was interesting and i still remember everything that was said. hmm.....maybe i could study law eh? aft that went home.

day 7:

woke up late. went to the bank.....ended up going to watch a movie. i watched Narnia...the Prince Caspian one. sigh...was not as good as i expected it to be. however, all the guys definitely got hotter. lol. jkjk....the beginning was ok but it became more and more farfetched towards the end. ended up laughing instead when all the kids around us watched the movie in awe. aft that went to starbucks.....came home. had dinner. chatted with my friends online till 2am.

today:

woke up late....going to study later. aft that going to amy's bday party which is nearby. probably will sleep at 2am again....sigh.

there is the synopsis of my hols. does it sound fun? i think not. omg.....n i have to go through another hols like this. hopefully it will be better eh? the next one may include more studying though since it will be before NCEA. now trix is trying to get me to go for a run.... ''-_-
